Guide to a SUCCESSFUL Interview
With Japanese Corporations
At an interview with Japanese Corporation, not only your ability is being assessed,
If you do not have the right attitudes and manners, you will NOT be considered!
The following pointers will help you to have a SUCCESSFUL interview!

Company’s name, Address and
Time! Don’t forget to ask about the Position and Expected Salary
as well!

Learn more information about the company! If there is a
company website, please
be sure to make a visit.

Dress Code
|

Clean and tidy and nicely ironed!
|
|

|
Dress code should be BUSINESS FORMAL. (Refer to Picture A) A suit is the perfect
choice!

c.
|
If not, please at least wear a suit jacket or a clean shirt with cardigan! (Refer
to Picture B)

d.
|
DO NOT WEAR JEANS/CASUAL WEAR!! (Refer to Picture C)

Please prepare certificates, reference letters and a fresh copy of your resume!
|

|
DON’T BE LATE! Punctuality is extremely important. Cancellation on the day of the
interview is strictly prohibited! Please arrive
5 minutes before the scheduled time.
However, if you have to be late, please contact our staff at Tempstaff immediately!

Turn off the cell phone!

Please sit at the seat closest to the door if possible.

As the interviewer enters the room, please
greet them standing up, and
receive their
name cards with both hands. Please place it
on the right side of the table.

Please do not be nervous during the interview,
be confident, intelligent. Do not forget
eye contact is an effective way to communicate. This way you will leave a
better impression and have a higher chance of being hired!

At the end of the interview, when asked, “Do you have any questions?” Do not answer,
“No.” Do not ask any questions about salary and benefits. If possible, ask some
questions about the job nature and the company.

When you leave, you must say, “Thank
you very much. It is nice meeting you.” Or
「ありがとうございました。宜しくお願いします。」 Please bow as you leave!
